Project Manager – Commercial Glazing

Twin Cities OR Rochester, MN | Direct Hire | $90,000 – $125,000 + Bonus

Konik is partnering with one of the largest commercial glazing contractors in the Midwest seeking to add a Project Manager to support continued growth. The company has experienced significant expansion in recent years and now ranks among the top glazing contractors nationally, delivering complex façade and curtain wall systems across large commercial projects.

This role will focus on field execution, installer coordination, and client communication throughout the lifecycle of commercial glazing projects. While prior glazing experience is helpful and preferred, the organization is open to strong construction project managers who understand general construction processes and are eager to learn the glazing scope.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoy balancing jobsite presence, coordination with installers, and customer-facing project leadership.

Project Manager Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial glazing projects from award through completion, ensuring alignment with project schedule, budget, and quality expectations
  • Coordinate installers, materials, equipment, and internal teams to support efficient project execution
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for general contractors, architects, and project stakeholders
  • Review project estimates, drawings, and specifications during turnover and throughout project execution
  • Monitor field progress, safety, installation quality, and schedule adherence across job sites
  • Coordinate with internal teams including estimating, CAD, fabrication, and field supervision to ensure successful project delivery

Project Manager Qualifications

  • Experience with curtain wall, window wall, or façade systems
  • 5+ years of construction project management experience on projects over $1M in scope
  • Strong understanding of general construction processes and project coordination
  • Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and leadership skills when working with installers, contractors, and clients
  • Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documents
  • Experience coordinating field operations and construction schedules
  • AutoCAD knowledge or drafting experience is a plus

Additional Role Details

  • Approximately 50% office / 50% field presence
  • Position ideally based in Rochester, though Twin Cities candidates are also considered

Compensation & Benefits
