Raytheon is seeking a Senior Manager, Material Program Management (MPM), to support the Tomahawk Missile Program within Naval Power. This role will be located onsite in Tucson, Arizona.

In this role you will be responsible for working within a matrixed organization to support the material strategy execution of the Tomahawk Multi-Year production contract. This contract will be the basis for the future of all Tomahawk production and demands a complex material strategy of bundling, obsolescence/new design cut ins, second sourcing efforts, supplier capacity funding, coordination with other MAT program strategies, and collaboration with procurement leadership and the CGO office. You will be responsible for the timely submission of several supply chain-related contract deliverables (CDRLs), to include monthly Earned Value requirements, as well as EAC development. As a Senior Manager, MPM, you will bring your advanced knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP) process, project management (to include program start up as well as execution), subcontract management, business acumen, and proposal activities and customer negotiation support to apply in this role. You’ll also lead the execution of a material program strategy/plan for the programs/integrated product teams, assist with the generation of Supplier Statement of Works (SSOW) and support all other program requests for material support and analysis. The successful candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills to be able to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one’s own job function, as well as with parties external to the organization.

What You Will Do
  • Work with PMO, CGO and customer representatives to develop and implement material strategies that support Tomahawk Multi Year production
  • Develop Purchase Order (PO) burndown plans to monitor and track progress to having all material requirements on order
  • Oversee financial management of material to maintain program financial health, to include coordination of monthly CAM/EV reporting, material sales forecasting, and quarterly EAC development
  • Identify staffing gaps and strategies to address
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years' experience.
  • Experience in leading or managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within the procurement work area.
  • Experience with proactive supplier management, leadership engagements and establishing/executing supplier recovery efforts
  • Experience managing and/or leading a team or cross functional project
  • Experience in Supply Chain, procurement or related field
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Supply chain experience specific to the Aerospace & Defense Industry
  • Leadership experience developing and/or mentoring junior team members, as well as developing and implementing staffing strategies
  • DoD/DoW proposal and negotiation experience to include applicable compliance requirements (i.e. TINA or section 890) and material price negotiation strategies
  • Financial acumen, budget planning/management experience , and proficiency in Office 365 tools
  • MPM Level 4 (or higher) and/or PM Level 7 (or higher) Certification
