Job description

The Program and Outreach Assistant (POA) will primarily work on program development and outreach to the Chatham University student population. The POA will help create civic engagement programs and build relationships between student organizations and the PCWP to help support civic engagement efforts across the university. As a part of outreach, the POA may be asked to create posts using Canva to be used in our social media campaigns.

The POA will also be tasked with managing our voter registration efforts on campus, manage table tent distribution across campus, as well as some general office duties. The POA will be expected to help execute our educational programs (i.e. work the program).

All PCWP student employees participate in our spring recruitment of NEW Leadership applications, which entails reaching out to students and faculty to share information about the program (this includes calling and e-mailing).

All current student employees should notify their other manager(s) if you work multiple jobs on campus at the same time. Additionally, students may not work more than 20 hours per week (combined between all campus jobs) during the academic year. Students may not exceed 980 work hours per calendar year.

Student jobs do not automatically roll over to the next academic year or summer.
