Job description

Global is a powerhouse in the commercial roofing industry. Trusted by Fortune 500 companies, property managers, and developers across the globe. Since 1971, we've delivered innovative, high-quality roofing solutions for commercial, industrial, and multi-family properties.
Why Join Us
This isn't just another Superintendent role; it's your opportunity to lead projects and drive excellence for a leading contractor making big moves nationwide. We'll give you the tools, resources, and support to succeed, along with a culture that celebrates achievement and rewards results. At Global, we believe a team is always stronger than an individual. That's why our Superintendents don't work in isolation, they're embedded in our field operations teams, partnering with project managers, crews, and safety leaders to deliver quality work, on time and on budget.
We practice teamwork on every job site, where your expertise in field leadership and project execution combines with the strengths of others to deliver excellence from the ground up. As we continue to expand, we're looking for growth-minded Superintendents who want to learn from the best, contribute to something bigger than themselves, and thrive in a culture built on collaboration, accountability, and shared success.
What You'll Do
  • Oversee and participate in daily commercial roofing installation activities on assigned job sites.
  • Manage labor, materials, and project schedules to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Supervise, train, and support roofing crew members, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
  • Monitor work progress, address on-site issues, and implement solutions to minimize delays or rework.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, vendors, and suppliers to facilitate effective communication and material coordination.
  • Maintain accurate records of job progress, material usage, and employee hours, and report regularly to the Project Manager.
  • Assist with budget tracking and project cost management to align with financial goals.

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial roofing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
  • Proficiency in commercial roofing systems such as TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen.
  • Strong leadership, team management, and hands-on technical skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • OSHA 30 Certification preferred; additional roofing or construction certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to work at heights, in various weather conditions, and perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Why You'll Love It Here
  • No-cost health insurance plan available to employees
  • Dental and vision insurance
  • 401(k) matching
  • Paid time off
  • Gym membership
  • One-on-one nutrition and gym coaching
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
  • Supportive and collaborative work environment
  • Opportunity to make a significant impact and advance your career in the commercial building envelope industry
