Responsibilities
This role will support the day-to-day management of the valet operation to ensure the operation is fostering an excellent guest experience, good client relations and promoting a professional and courteous image. Additionally, this role will play a key part in creating and implementing a successful staging plan by utilizing all aspects of the location's layout to ensure maximum parking capacity.
  • Participate in programs to improve client and guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure guests are receiving timely and exception service by:
    • Courteously assisting guests by answering any questions they may have;
    • Assisting guests in and out of their vehicle;
    • Driving, parking and retrieving guest vehicles in a safe and professional manner; and
    • Having a thorough knowledge of all areas of the valet operation, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area.
  • Create a staffing schedule according to the anticipated daily vehicle volume.
  • Maintain full compliance to the standard operating procedures, while ensuring the safety and security of vehicles and keys at all times.
  • Prepare and process daily paperwork according to audit compliance standards.
  • Quickly distinguish vehicle make and models; have a general knowledge of vehicle operations.
  • Ensure that drive lanes and crosswalks are clean of debris, water, oil spills, etc.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Review damage claims.
  • Assist with hiring, training, and coaching an excellent valet team.
  • Substitute for any position, if necessary.
  • Complete other duties as needed.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education/Experience Required: High School Graduate. A minimum of six months of valet experience preferred.
Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.
License Requirement: Must possess a valid state-issued driver's license with current address and acceptable driving record.
Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions.
Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; Able to read and interpret written information.
Guest Service: Have a strong guest orientation and positive attitude. Able to responds to requests for service and assistance in a courteous and professional manner.
Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment; Able to deal with change, delays, or unexpected events.
Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 annually per year
