Job description

Finance Operations Director

San Jose - Onsite 5 days per week Position Summary Finance Operations Director will be responsible for managing the accounting operations and forecasting relating to standard cost, variances, spending, other cost of goods sold, E&O reserve, rebates and other. The responsibilities include:

  • Manage E&O, rebates, standard cost of sales, variances, other cost of goods sold, and other aspects of the Gross Margin
  • Manage the standard costs and standard costs update
  • Manage and supervise one staff and assist the Singapore accounting team
  • Independently improve Oracle system processes and automate reconciliation processes
  • Responsible for Oracle and other IT project management especially as it relates to the cost accounting system with Oracle Shop Floor Manager (OSFM)
  • Ensure the company's internal and external reporting requirements are satisfied and delivered in a timely manner
  • Lead quarterly review and annual audit by external auditors
  • Manage the development, implementation and the documentation of information for Sarbanes Oxley testing and compliance
  • Assist with ad hoc accounting projects and financial reports as needed
  • Assist with operational issues and partner with the VP of operations
  • Manage cost metrics reporting and operational metrics package

Requirements

  • 10+ years of related accounting experience
  • Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Standard cost experience
  • Strong leadership, project management and communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • Oracle experience, OFSM is a plus
  • Public Accounting experience is a plus
  • Experience with high-speed trading systems and/or secure payment processing (chips in cards/ATMs)
  • People management experience
  • Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA, or MBA a plus
