What You'll Do as an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Maintenance Technician who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. In this role, you will:
  • Assist with completing daily service requests for residents
  • Support the team with unit make-readies and apartment upgrades
  • Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and pool repair/upkeep
  • Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and well-functioning community
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as scheduled
  • Use and maintain your own tools in a professional manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and coworkers

What We're Looking For in an Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:
  • Minimum 2 Years apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry (REQUIRED)
  • Valid HVAC License REQUIRED
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, appliances, pools, and general repairs
  • Strong troubleshooting and time-management abilities
  • A personal set of basic hand tools
  • Willingness to work on-call as scheduled
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Important: Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.

Working Environment for the Apartment Assistant Maintenance Technician:
This role requires regular physical activity, including standing, walking, sitting, lifting, climbing, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. Team members must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Most work occurs in an outdoor environment, with occasional off-site tasks as needed. All employees must adhere to the company's uniform policy, provided on the first day of employment.
