Job description

Apartment Maintenance Technician

Location: Phoenix, AZ
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience

Certified Apartment Staffing is actively hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for multiple apartment communities throughout the Phoenix, AZ area. If you have hands-on multifamily maintenance experience and enjoy keeping apartment communities in top condition, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily maintenance work orders efficiently and professionally.
  • Perform apartment make-readies, including punch work and unit turns.
  • Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC (basic), and appliance issues.
  • Install and repair appliances as needed.
  • Complete drywall repairs, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain community grounds and common areas.
  • Perform preventative maintenance throughout the property.
  • Respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of apartment maintenance experience required.
  • Well-rounded knowledge of apartment maintenance.
  • Experience completing make-readies, work orders, grounds maintenance, and general repairs.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
  • EPA Certification preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work both indoors and outdoors.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check.
