Are you ready to make a splash in your career? Horizon Commercial Pools is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and highly organized Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to join our team in Arden Hills.
The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, performing regular audits, and ensuring optimal stock levels meet operational demands. This role is critical to minimizing stock discrepancies and supporting supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acts as picker in the warehouse, ensuring accurate and timely selection of inventory for customer orders.
  • Monitor inventory levels across all storage locations to ensure accuracy and organization.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies in inventory records.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory issues (e.g., shrinkage, miscounts, or damaged goods).
  • Work closely with warehouse and procurement teams to maintain stock integrity.
  • Ensure inventory transactions are correctly entered into warehouse management and ERP systems.
  • Assist in preparing inventory-related reports and audits.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize loss and improve accuracy.
  • Support new product setup, bin location assignments, and physical inventory counts.

Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to follow safe operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse operations.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-functionally.

Preferred Skills/Abilities:
  • Proficient in Excel and inventory management/ERP software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle).
  • Certified forklift and powered pallet-jack operator, or willingness to become certified.

Education and Experience:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2 + years of experience in inventory, warehousing or supply chain.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to frequently push or pull objects weighing up to 50lbs, including weights above this with pallet-jack assistance.
  • Requires the physical ability to use hands, arms, feet and legs for repetitive movements, bending, squatting and reaching.
