The Process Engineering Manager provides the technical direction and leadership to the Engineering team as well as the business for our overall design and development process. In addition, the Process Engineering Manager is responsible for ensuring that key projects and engineering duties are fulfilled on time and within budget. The Process Engineering Manager will work closely with our product teams and customers to help develop new Technology ensuring they are implemented with defined plans for training, qualification, transition to production, and with appropriate controls in place for sustained production. As a Process Engineering Manager you are responsible for solving any engineering issues that come up through the normal production process or within new projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical leadership, guidance and training to the engineering team

  • Works on or serves as a resource on projects requiring advanced/specialized design/manufacturing knowledge

  • Manage department budgets, headcount, capital equipment, outsourcing expenses, and assist with financial planning and tracking

  • Work with product line management teams in support of the development of new product and technology roadmaps. Provide input into defining capabilities required to meet the current and future needs and develops and executes plans to achieve

  • Manage engineering and quality activities to ensure design robustness and manufacturability. Perform Design of Experiments (DOE's) as necessary to ensure processes are centered. Ensure critical process parameters are properly identified, effectively measured, monitored, and have prescribed corrections if required

  • Ensure conformance to Product Development Process; monitor, track and report status of all projects

  • Manage and provide input to ensure compliance to product specifications and defining project milestones to meet schedule requirements

  • Define and implement best practices to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with all environmental regulations and standards with regard to material handling and proper chemical waste disposal

  • Interface with customers and key suppliers (occasional travel may be necessary)

  • Comply with and support all company policies and procedures including, equal opportunity employment practices, OSHA safety requirements and the ethical business practices policy

Education and Experience:

  • 5+ years of process engineering experience is preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred.

  • Previous experience in an engineering supervisory role is preferred

  • PCB experience is preferred.

Compensation for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, TTM provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in New York, California and Colorado. For California-based roles, compensation ranges are based upon specific physical locations.
