With over 1700 shops actively engaged in our program, we provide coaching, training and the largest buying program in the automotive aftermarket for Independent Shop Owners. Our members have cumulatively increased their Gross Profits by almost $3.0 Billion dollars through the ATI program.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The LMS Design Manager is the creative and technical leader of ATI's digital learning ecosystem, responsible for designing, building, and managing engaging online learning experiences across Docebo LMS and supplemental formats including PowerPoint, video, and web-based content. This role ensures that every piece of digital learning content elevates the ATI brand, reflects industry best practices, and keeps members, prospects, and partners engaged throughout their learning journey.

This is a hands-on, creative leadership role that reports to the VP of Brand and works closely with ATI's training, coaching, peer group, and content teams. The right person brings deep expertise in instructional design and LMS platforms, a sharp eye for visual storytelling, and the ability to provide leadership, direction, and oversight to junior team members. They are a subject matter expert in digital learning who stays ahead of emerging trends and translates them into practical, high-impact programs for ATI's audience.

WHAT YOU WILL OWNPRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

LMS Design and Course Development

  • Design, build, and publish engaging learning courses and programs within ATI's Docebo LMS, ensuring content is visually compelling, brand-aligned, and pedagogically sound
  • Develop supplemental learning materials in multiple formats (PowerPoint, PDF, video, interactive modules) for use on the ATI website and in support of training and peer group programs
  • Apply adult learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and digital learning best practices to create experiences that drive learner engagement and knowledge retention
  • Own the end-to-end course development lifecycle from needs analysis and storyboarding through design, build, QA, launch, and post-launch optimization
  • Create and maintain course templates, style guides, and brand standards for all digital learning content to ensure visual and tonal consistency across the ATI platform

Creative Strategy and Brand Elevation

  • Bring a creative, design-forward mindset to every learning experience, ensuring ATI's digital programs look and feel premium, modern, and engaging
  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor benchmarks, and emerging best practices in digital learning, e-learning UX, and LMS innovation to keep ATI at the forefront
  • Collaborate with the VP of Brand and marketing team to ensure all learning content reinforces ATI's brand identity, voice, and visual standards
  • Introduce and champion new content formats, interactive elements, and engagement techniques (gamification, microlearning, scenario-based learning, etc.) that elevate the member and learner experience

LMS Platform Management and Optimization

  • Serve as ATI's subject matter expert and primary owner of the Docebo LMS platform, including configuration, user management, learning paths, reporting, and system optimization
  • Monitor learner analytics, engagement metrics, and course completion data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform content strategy
  • Partner with IT and external vendors to manage integrations, system updates, and platform enhancements that improve functionality and user experience
  • Develop and maintain documentation for LMS processes, workflows, and governance standards

Team Leadership and Mentorship

  • Provide leadership, creative direction, and day-to-day oversight to junior members of the digital learning and content team
  • Establish quality standards, review workflows, and feedback processes to ensure all team output meets ATI's brand and instructional design standards
  • Mentor and develop junior designers and content creators, fostering skill growth in instructional design, LMS tools, and creative production
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent learning initiatives

Brand Communications Support

  • Assist the VP of Brand with communication projects as needed, including internal presentations, member-facing materials, and digital content that supports ATI's broader brand and marketing objectives
  • Contribute creative concepts and design execution to special projects, campaigns, and cross-functional initiatives as they arise
WHO YOU AREQUALIFICATIONS
  • 7 or more years of experience in instructional design, e-learning development, or digital learning management, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead capacity
  • Demonstrated expertise with Docebo LMS (strongly preferred) or comparable enterprise LMS platforms (Cornerstone, Absorb, Workday Learning, etc.)
  • Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate 360 (Storyline/Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar
  • Strong visual design skills with proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma for creating polished, brand-aligned learning assets
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design frameworks (ADDIE, SAM, Bloom's Taxonomy), and digital engagement best practices
  • Experience building learning content in multiple formats: LMS courses, PowerPoint-based training, video, interactive web content, and blended learning programs
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, meet deadlines, and coordinate across teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp editorial eye and attention to brand voice
  • Experience with learning analytics, reporting dashboards, and using data to inform content decisions and demonstrate ROI
  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, communications, graphic design, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where creativity and operational excellence are equally valued

$15.00 - $163,000.00

Base pay offered may vary depending on actual location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Supplemental pay types may include commissions or bonus incentives, depending on the role.
