Assistant Director of Student Services: The Assistant Director will specifically support and oversee specialized special education programming, assist building administrators with compliance and problem-solving, manage summer programming, and co-facilitate multi-tiered support systems for behavior. And provide professional development to equip staff to best support students with special needs. Please see attached job description for additional details.

Qualifications:
  • Licensure: Holds a current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL).
  • Endorsements: General Administrative (preferred), Principal Endorsement, or Director of Special Education endorsement is required.
  • Minimum Education: Master's Degree (MA).
  • Experience: Previous experience in special education as a special education teacher, related service provider, and/or administrator. Experience in successfully managing IEP and 504 processes.
  • Core Knowledge: Strong knowledge of special education laws, the continuum of services, and evidence-based instructional practices.

Terms of Employment:
Twelve (12) month Salaried Employee; 8-hour work day
Salary Range: $95,000-$105,000
