Job Summary: The Assistant Director of Athletic Video Operations assists with directing the daily operations of video services for assigned sport(s). Plans, budgets, trains employees, and coordinates work schedules to ensure effective and efficient operations.
Additional Department Summary: Assist with the daily football video operations including planning, training employees, and coordinating work schedules to ensure effective and efficient operations to enhance the overall football operation. The ability to scout opponents and self-scout our team relies on this position. Requires long hours (60+) each week along with express knowledge of equipment and football. Communicates with coaches and manages a video support staff.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of video production experience; OR master's degree and some video production experience.
Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions.
Skills and Knowledge: Basic skills in post-production editing. Ability to carry video equipment long distances and up-and-down stairs. Working knowledge of the terminology of football. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Mac computers. Experience filming games and practices. Experience with XOS Digital Network preferred.
