Job Summary
As a Demand Planner, you will assist in all demand planning duties including estimating future demand and analyzing inventory flow into our distribution center. You will use cross-functional interactions, historical data analysis, customer data, market trends and statistical projections to develop the most accurate and up-to-date demand plan. This position is a critical role in supporting the signals that drive our level load manufacturing strategy.
Job Duties
  • Routinely research market intelligence to ensure that demand forecasts are accurate and up to date
  • Present analytics-based demand forecasts to multiple departments, including upper management
  • Identify key sales indicators for specific products to provide the sales department with relevant analysis and guidance with respect to decision-making
  • Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
  • Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
  • Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education
  • Perform work under minimal supervision
  • Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
  • Typically require a bachelor's degree and 4 to 6 years of experience
