Job Description

This is a key project leadership role responsible for US and Canada regional product demand forecasts and communication through a global process to supply chain team. Works closely with Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure timeliness and accuracy of region forecast. Responsible for developing expertise and utilizing the Oracle-based tool Demantra in the region.


Key responsibilities/essential functions include:

Accountable for regional demand data integrity in the Demantra Sales & Operational Planning tool 

Working with representatives from different business areas in region to establish and manage a regular (monthly) cycle to update 18 month unit demand information 

Running a regular (monthly) review including representatives from region, Supply Chain and Product Management to review and explain demand data 

Working with Finance and Sales management to explain any differences between regional quarterly sales estimates and demand data, including identifying and taking action on variances 

Become regional "super user" for Demantra tool, supporting other users in region with first line questions and issues 

Interfacing with supply chain organization to explain or follow up on any demand information required 

Producing graphic and other analysis to illustrate and explain demand trends and variances 

Maintaining information on forecast accuracy and working with regional organization on action plans to improve 

Build and sustain a community with colleagues in other regions 

Share best practices and discuss opportunities to collaborate and improve processes 

Work with process owners to identify simplification and growth opportunities 

Quality Specific Goals: 

Be aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 

Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines 

Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent Professional certification

Experience in long range forecasting and planning (S&OP) processes and systems

5+ years' experience working in projects in areas of commercial, operations, supply chain subjects within complex organizations

Quantitative analytical skills with the ability to identify, interpret and resolve unstructured problems

Demonstrated forecasting and planning skills

Comprehensive project management skills and experiences

Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams in remote environment

Strong sense of urgency with a demonstrated record of meeting commitments

Strong organizational and time management skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

High computer skills: Excel, MS-Office, ERP

High level of flexibility and passion/engagement

Must be willing to travel (approx. 10%)

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Must be willing to work in our Marlborough, MA facility

Must be willing to submit to a drug test and background check

Oracle experience
