Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Materials Sourcing Assistant Construction to support our construction projects by sourcing, pricing, and ordering materials.
This is a fast-paced role that plays a key part in keeping our jobs on schedule.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Source construction materials across all trades (lumber, drywall, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
  • Contact suppliers for pricing, availability, and lead times
  • Compare pricing to ensure the best cost options
  • Place orders and coordinate deliveries to job sites
  • Track material orders and update the team on status
  • Build relationships with suppliers in NJ, PA, and the surrounding areas
  • Work closely with project managers and the field team
Requirements:

  • Experience in construction, supply houses, or material sourcing is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication skills (phone + email)
  • Ability to work fast and stay organized
  • Familiar with vendors like Home Depot, Lowes, and local supply houses
