Job Description

As a Construction Engineering Manager in our Construction Administration Department at CFB, you will take a leadership role in overseeing construction operations across a variety of civil engineering projects. This position ensures quality control, plans adherence, and regulatory compliance throughout the construction process. You will collaborate closely with contractors, engineers, and project stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate construction administration activities on multiple civil engineering projects from start to finish

  • Ensure compliance with engineering designs, specifications, and regulatory standards

  • Lead field teams and inspectors, reviewing reports and providing technical guidance as needed

  • Communicate regularly with contractors, design professionals, and internal project managers/directors to resolve issues and ensure timely completion

  • Participate in pre-construction meetings to provide input on constructability and logistics

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager overseeing civil engineering projects
  • Strong understanding of construction standards, land development, and engineering design
