Are you ready to jumpstart your career in commercial construction with a global leader? We're looking for a driven and talented Assistant Construction Manager to join our Global Real Estate team. This is a great opportunity to fast-track your career in commercial construction by working on high-impact projects from the ground up. This role is designed for someone who wants to grow. As a key member of our team, you'll be perfectly positioned to learn our processes, take on more responsibility, and advance into a Construction Manager role.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

You'll support construction projects from the initial planning stages through post-opening. As this is a new position, the responsibilities may evolve to best support the team's needs.

  • Financial & Technical Review: Reviewing budgets and construction drawings for accuracy and performing material takeoffs.
  • Project Lifecycle Support: Participating in the bid qualification and RFI processes, assisting with equipment ordering and procurement, and attending project status meetings.
  • On-Site Project Management: Attending punch walks and conducting post-construction site visits to ensure quality and address any issues.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactively identifying issues and working with the team to find effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Warranty Management: Managing post-opening warranty plans to ensure new sites are fully operational and customer-ready.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

We're seeking a self-motivated, organized, and confident individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has:

  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, ideally in an administrative, coordinator, or project management capacity.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: The ability to quickly assess situations, find effective solutions, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams, external partners, and senior leadership.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
  • Growth Mindset: A strong desire to learn, take ownership, and grow your career within the organization.
  • Ability to Travel: You may be required to travel across the US (up to75%) as needed for project support.
