Job Title: Assistant Mobile Dental Clinic Manager

Department: Mobile Dental Services

Reports To: Mobile Clinic Manager

Employment Type: Full-Time Salaried

Location: On the Road

Position Summary: The Assistant Mobile Clinic Manager supports the daily operations of the mobile dental clinic to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care delivery. This role is hands-on and operational with duties not limited to but including assisting with clinic setup, patient flow, documentation, transportation and sterilization processes. The Assistant Mobile Clinic Manager also serves as a key support to the Mobile Clinic Manager in maintaining compliance, safety, and service standards while delivering care to underserved and community-based patient populations.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist in the daily operation and coordination of the mobile dental clinic, including the setup and breakdown of equipment and supplies

· Safely drive company vehicle while pulling the mobile dental clinic trailer in accordance with all traffic laws, safety protocols in line with all company policies

· Transport patients as needed to and from the mobile dental clinic ensuring patient safety and comfort at all times

· Assist clinical staff with patient charging and documentation as assigned by the mobile clinic manager, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with HIPAA and other applicable organizational policies

· Support patient intake, flow, and chair-side assistance as directed

· Assist in performing cleaning, disinfection and sterilization of dental instruments, equipment, and clinical areas in accordance with infection control standards

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mobile clinic interior and exterior

· Assist with inventory management, stocking of supplies, and reporting equipment or vehicle maintenance needs

· Provide superior customer service to patients, families, and business partners including checking in and out at the start and end of every visit as assigned by management

· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control guidelines

· Assist with administrative tasks and other related duties as assigned to support clinic operations


Travel Requirements:

· Position requires extensive travel with full statewide coverage.

· Frequent and ongoing overnight travel is required, with an estimated 3-4 overnight stays per week.

· Ability to work varying schedules and travel to multiple community-based locations dependent on business needs

· Must be able to safely operate company vehicles including pulling the mobile dental clinic for extended periods and travel long distances.

· Willingness to stay overnight away from home during the work week.


Required Qualifications:

· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

· Ability and willingness to safely drive large company vehicles including pulling mobile dental clinic trailer. Additional training will be provided.

· Previous experience in healthcare, dental, mobile clinics or patient-facing roles strongly preferred.

· Basic computer skills required.

· Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a mobile and fast-paced environment.


Physical and Work Requirements:

· Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.

· Ability to assist patients with mobility needs.

· Comfortable working in a mobile clinic environment with varying locations and schedules

· Willingness to frequently travel throughout the state as required, including 3-4 overnight stays per week.
