Job description

Position Summary
The CCMSD Clinic Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management, strategic oversight, and operational performance of three rural healthcare clinics: Sundance Clinic, Moorcroft Clinic, and Hulett Clinic. This position is accountable for ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, and staff leadership across all assigned locations. The Clinic Manager collaborates with clinical and administrative leadership to align clinic operations with organizational goals and reports directly to executive leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all assigned clinics to ensure delivery of safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
  • Manage day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and performance expectations.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop clinic staff including nursing, medical assistants, front office, and ancillary personnel.
  • Develop and manage staffing models, schedules, and resource allocation to meet patient demand and maintain operational efficiency.
  • Monitor and analyze clinic performance metrics including patient volume, access, quality indicators, financial performance, and productivity. Implement quality improvement initiatives, patient safety programs, and QAPI activities across clinic sites.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and regulatory requirements including HIPAA, OSHA, infection prevention, and CMS standards.
  • Oversee and enforce clinic policies, procedures, and workflows; recommend improvements as needed.
  • Collaborate with providers to enhance clinical workflows, patient throughput, and care outcomes.
  • Serve as the escalation point for operational issues, staff concerns, and patient service matters.
  • Develop and manage clinic budgets in coordination with finance leadership; monitor expenses and resource utilization. Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and ongoing training and competency validation for clinic staff.
  • Oversee inventory management, supply chain processes, and equipment coordination. Act as liaison between clinic operations and departments including HR, IT, Quality/Compliance, and Finance.
  • Lead preparation for regulatory surveys, audits, and internal reviews, ensuring audit readiness. Support organizational initiatives, strategic planning, and service line growth within clinic operations.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has full management responsibility for clinic staff at Sundance, Moorcroft, and Hulett Clinics, including hiring, scheduling, coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, staff development, and fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Multi-site management experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulations, clinic operations, and quality standards.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, and performance management preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly between Sundance, Moorcroft, and Hulett clinics.
