ASSISTANT CLERK

Town of Calumet, Wisconsin | Part-Time | Supports the Town Clerk

The Town of Calumet is hiring an Assistant Clerk to keep day-to-day operations moving and to serve as a trained backup for the Town Clerk. This is a great entry point into municipal government for someone who is dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable coordinating between residents, committees, and the Clerk's office.

What You'll Own

  • Daily mail pickup and processing
  • Routing applications rezones, appeals, driveways, and Certified Survey Maps to the appropriate committees and coordinating their meetings
  • Issuing Operator's Licenses outside the annual licensing period
  • Monthly Wisconsin Retirement System reporting
  • Serving as trained backup for Town Board and committee meetings and minutes
  • Supporting Town website updates alongside the Clerk
