The Senior Specialist, Programs - Music & Audio supports the strategy, planning, execution, and growth of national fundraising programs and donor engagement experiences within the Music & Audio portfolio. This role plays a key part in expanding St. Jude's presence within the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) industry while helping to create meaningful experiences that inspire artists, partners, donors, and supporters to advance the mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Working closely with program leadership, Territory teams, artist management, industry partners, and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Specialist helps execute fundraising campaigns, artist engagement initiatives, and donor cultivation opportunities. The role is responsible for managing assigned campaigns and events, maintaining strong partner relationships, supporting revenue-generating opportunities, and ensuring exceptional stakeholder experiences.

This position offers exposure to national event planning, strategic partnership development, artist relations, donor engagement, reporting, and program innovation across both in-person and virtual environments.

Key Responsibilities Program Strategy & Execution
  • Support the achievement of fundraising and business objectives that strengthen and advance the mission of St. Jude.
  • Assist in the development, planning, and execution of assigned Music & Audio campaigns, events, and donor engagement experiences.
  • Contribute to program growth strategies, with a particular focus on expanding engagement within the Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) community.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, calendars, and operational processes to ensure successful program execution.
  • Support the development and implementation of artist engagement protocols and donor cultivation strategies.
Relationship & Account Management
  • Manage relationships for assigned fundraising campaigns, events, sponsors, partners, volunteers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for designated partnerships, ensuring timely communication, follow-up, and stewardship.
  • Support existing partnerships while identifying opportunities to expand engagement, fundraising impact, and mission awareness.
  • Collaborate with Territory teams and external partners to execute campaigns and fulfill partnership commitments.
Fundraising & Donor Engagement
  • Support fundraising initiatives and donor experiences across both live and virtual event environments.
  • Utilize relationship-based fundraising techniques to cultivate, engage, and steward participants, donors, and supporters.
  • Create meaningful mission-focused experiences that deepen donor connection and encourage long-term engagement.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance participant experiences through innovative in-person, digital, and virtual engagement strategies.
Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with internal departments and stakeholders to improve processes, enhance program delivery, and streamline campaign execution.
  • Implement communication strategies that promote alignment, awareness, and collaboration across teams and programs.
  • Develop and deliver training materials, presentations, mission-focused content, and stakeholder communications.
  • Support reporting, data analysis, and program evaluations to measure effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
Innovation & Business Development
  • Support the exploration and implementation of new fundraising opportunities through partnerships, social platforms, digital initiatives, and emerging audience engagement strategies.
  • Assist with testing and evaluating new concepts designed to increase participation, revenue, and supporter engagement.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations that strengthen program growth, partner value, and overall fundraising outcomes.
Qualifications Education & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in fundraising, event management, nonprofit programs, partnership development, marketing, entertainment, music industry relations, account management, or a related field.
  • Experience managing stakeholder relationships and coordinating events, campaigns, or partnership initiatives preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage internal and external audiences.
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/event management platforms preferred.
  • Passion for mission-driven work and creating meaningful donor and partner experiences.
  • Interest or experience within the music, entertainment, faith-based, or nonprofit sectors is highly desirable.
Travel Requirements
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays, as required to support events, artist engagements, and fundraising activities.

This position is based at ALSAC’s National Executive Office in Memphis, TN and is eligible for a hybrid work schedule.
