As Manager, Digital Marketing, you will lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of digital campaigns for assigned artist brands and projects. This role is responsible for developing audience-first marketing strategies that drive fan engagement, music consumption, growth across digital platforms, and contribute to bottom-line revenue.

The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist, creative thinker, trend forecaster, and project manager with a deep understanding of music culture, short-form content, fan communities, and the evolving digital landscape. This role requires strong collaboration across artists, management, creative teams, external partners, and internal departments to bring campaigns to life from announce through release and beyond. Support across the roster will fluctuate based on release schedules and priority campaigns.

What you'll do:

Essential functions

  • Develop digital campaign strategies that position artists for cultural relevance, fan connection, long-term brand growth, and deliver measurable ROI across various releases
  • Create and maintain strategic campaign documents, rollout plans, content calendars, and marketing timelines
  • Oversee strategy and execution of social content, fan communications, websites, email and SMS campaigns, and paid advertising
  • Lead paid media execution across GA4 and Meta Ads Manager, leveraging performance insights and conversion-focused copywriting across ads, email, SMS, landing pages, and social content to maximize campaign efficiency and ROI
  • Serve as an internal resource and educator for artists and teams on emerging digital platforms, audience behaviors, tools, trends, and digital best practices
  • Expand and deepen external partner relationships (media outlets, influencers, digital platform reps)
  • Identify and partner with tastemakers to drive authentic, timely creator campaigns and increase UGC
  • Partner with internal teams, artists, management, and external vendors to create, manage, and distribute compelling short-form content that keeps artist social channels active, engaging, and aligned with artist branding
  • Contribute to short-form content post-production by editing and optimizing assets for platform-specific distribution when required
  • Commission or run ad hoc reports needed for strategic planning or partner communication
  • Build vendor portfolio, negotiate rates and fees, and activate vendors appropriately to meet goals
  • Manage legal and regulatory compliance in a complicated and evolving environment, including COPPA, online privacy, data security, etc.
  • Serve and manage internal and external clients' needs with professionalism and excellence
Who you are:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience developing and implementing marketing strategy with a focus on digital marketing / social media required (generally gained through 3 or more years of experience)
  • Proven competency in deriving insight and action through data analytics, specifically in digital space; advanced quantitative skills to analyze campaigns to determine success
  • Video & image editing capabilities a must
  • Experience in music, lifestyle or entertainment industry desired
  • Bachelor degree in marketing, promotions, advertising or related field a plus
  • A keen interest in latest innovations in the digital discipline and ability to translate latest trends into action
  • A strong desire to support music and platforms of Christian music artists
  • Proficiency with both Macs and PCs; ability to use common software packages and online/mobile applications
  • Proven organizational skills, including experience in project management
  • Proven outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills with experience maintaining constructive working relationships with superiors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside company
  • Excellent written communication skills with ability to quickly produce marketing-savvy copy. Ability to communicate on behalf of our artists in digital space
  • Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance, urgency, and time constraints while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure and changing conditions
  • Ability to learn new duties and adjust to new situations encountered on job within a reasonable amount of time
  • Ability to adapt behavior and manner based on expectations and needs of audience
