Job Description Summary
ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:
The Bursar's office provides administrative and customer service support to the student population, while also assisting faculty, staff, and visitors with account-related inquiries. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and contribute to the efficient operation of the office.
POSITION SUMMARY, ROUTINE TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Organize office files, and documents.
  • Perform data entry and verify the accuracy of financial and student information.
  • Assist with billing, payment processing, and account reconciliation tasks as assigned.
  • Support office staff with special projects, mail distribution, filing, copying, scanning, and other clerical duties.
  • Maintain a professional and welcoming environment for all students and campus constituents.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Registered full-time SSU student
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and follow instructions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media platforms
