Assistant Building Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

TF Cornerstone Inc. is seeking an Independent, Live-Out Assistant Building Manager to help oversee the operations of a large luxury rental building in Manhattan.

Applicant must be able to demonstrate a high level of mechanical aptitude, experience with apartment preparation, excellent organizational and communication skills with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Primary responsibilities will include assisting with:

  • Supervision of day-to-day maintenance operations
  • Troubleshoot Mechanical Issues
  • Overseeing of apartment preparation
  • Supervision of staff members
  • Training of new hires
  • Maintaining resident relations
  • Management of vendor relations
  • Special projects
  • Other related duties as needed


JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidate must have at least five (5) yearsโ€™ of recent supervisory experience, preferably in a large luxury rental building in NYC. (Please confirm this in your cover letter in order to be considered)
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to manage building employees.
  • Facilities/Operations experience with strong working knowledge of building systems.
  • Proficiently skilled in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and basic construction.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Superb customer service skills.
  • Highly motivated service-oriented self-starter.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with residents.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and complex operational matters on a daily basis.

Candidate must be able to respond to emergencies 24/7. Compensation will be commensurate with experience in base salary with an excellent benefits package.

Pay Range

  • $80,000-$95,000
