SUMMARY

This is a full-time, live-in position that works 5 days per week (including Saturdays and Sundays) and assists with the daily operations of 1600 Hyde Park Road, a new luxury mixed use building. Reporting to the Building Manager, the Assistant Building Manager will have onsite support from our friendly and dedicated in-house property management, maintenance, and landscape team.

DUTIES

  • Complete minor maintenance repairs and electronic work order documentation
  • Attend to resident concerns
  • Clean common areas and vacant units
  • Empty trash cans and waste containers. Move bins for city pick up
  • Complete regular building and grounds checks as well as corresponding documentation
  • Deliver and post notices
  • Assist with move-ins, move-outs and unit showings
  • Complete on-call hours in the evenings and on weekends on a rotating schedule with the Building Manager


REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in residential building management, including minor maintenance and cleaning
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and smart phone applications
  • Proficient spoken and written English
  • Courteous manners with the public
  • Knowledge of residential building management and Residential Tenancies Act in Ontario is an asset
  • Criminal background check will be required for the successful candidate
