Legal Assistant / Appraisal Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Premier Public Adjusting firm seeks full time Legal Assistant / Appraisal Coordinator to handle the firm's daily activities, including scheduling and preparing for Appraisals to be attended by the company?s Appraiser, the Opposing Appraiser and Panel. As well as phone calls, filing, scanning documents, reviewing and creating e-mails, and preparing necessary documents. Applicant must be bilingual (Spanish/English), personable, pleasant, and be proficient with a computer and the internet. Additionally, applicant must have great verbal and written communication skills and time-management skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Scheduling Appraisals.
  • Creating packets.
  • Timely response to Emails and Voicemails.
  • Maintaining spreadsheet with status of the Appraisals.
  • Providing updates to clients.
  • Adding notes in our internal system to keep company personnel informed.
  • Follow up with Opposing Appraisers and Panel.
  • Attending files that are returned from the Stellar Appraiser (this consists of awards, request for revising our estimates, SOU?s, basically any instructions provided by the Appraiser).
