We are currently seeking a detail-oriented, responsible, and education-driven Academic Counseling Assistant to join our onsite team. This role provides day-to-day support to our academic counseling team and helps ensure smooth communication, scheduling, and student service operations.
Position Overview
The Academic Counseling Assistant works closely with Academic Counselors to support student coordination, parent communication, scheduling, and daily academic operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, reliable, and interested in working in an educational setting.
Compared with the Academic Counselor role, this position focuses more on coordination, follow-up, and administrative support, while helping maintain a positive and efficient experience for students and families.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Academic Counselors with daily communication with students and parents
  • Support class scheduling, teacher coordination, and appointment follow-up
  • Help organize and update student records, schedules, and academic information
  • Assist in tracking student progress and preparing routine updates for families
  • Communicate schedule changes, reminders, and general class-related information to students and parents
  • Work closely with teachers and the administrative team to support daily academic operations
  • Help prepare materials and provide support for parent meetings, student programs, and academy events
  • Maintain accurate internal records and assist with other student service and administrative tasks as needed
  • Support the counseling team in delivering organized, timely, and high-quality service
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Previous experience in education, administration, student services, customer service, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
