This position involves working closely with students, faculty, and parents to foster a positive and productive learning environment, ensuring students make informed decisions about their academic paths and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive academic advising to students, assisting with course selection, degree planning, and understanding academic policies and requirements.
  • Guide students in exploring various academic programs, majors, and career pathways, aligning their interests and strengths with suitable educational opportunities.
  • Monitor student academic progress, identify those at risk, and develop intervention strategies to support their success, including referrals to tutoring or other support services.
  • Conduct individual and group counselling sessions to address academic challenges, personal issues impacting studies, and career aspirations.
  • Collaborate with faculty, administrators, and parents/guardians to ensure a holistic approach to student support and development.
