Job description


Hamilton Connections is seeking candidates for assembler positions at a manufacturing company in Danbury, CT. These are temp-to-hire positions.
The first shift is 7 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $20.25 an hour.
The second shift is 3:30 p.m.-12 a.m., Monday-Friday. The salary is $22.25 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick necessary parts for production orders
  • Assemble, check and package sub-components and finished products according to instruction and production order in a quality and schedule-minded fashion
  • Execute special tasks within the assembly process
  • Mount items necessary for fulfilling the assembly orders of sub-components and finished products
  • Maintain order at the workplace
  • Temporary assignments as floater in different assembly teams
  • Cooperation within assembly team
  • Perform computer and administrative work such as order printing, label creation, order confirmation and tracking
  • Coordinate transport arrangements with shipping
  • Prioritize and arrange production papers and pick list based on commitment level to customers

Job Requirements:
  • Assembly and/or manufacturing experience
  • Forward thinking with good time management skills
  • Average manual dexterity
  • Mechanical ability necessary
  • Able to handle physical aspects of the job, including moderate to heavy lifting and standing for long periods
  • Able to operate manufacturing equipment and electronic test equipment
  • Able to read and write in English
  • Able to work overtime
  • Able to pass pre-employment screenings
