About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented, team-driven Assembler for our Milwaukie Kitchen. The Assembler is responsible for preparing and assembling high-quality food products in a high-volume, USDA-inspected production kitchen environment, following company specifications, food safety guidelines, USDA regulations, and Grant of Inspection compliance requirements. This role supports daily kitchen operations by maintaining consistency, efficiency, and quality while contributing to a clean, safe, and collaborative workplace.

What You'll Do
  • Assemble food items including sandwiches, salads, burritos, and catering trays according to production specifications and quality standards
  • Meet daily production goals and complete assigned tasks within established timelines
  • Maintain clean, organized, and food-safe workstations in compliance with sanitation and safety policies
  • Follow company recipes and production procedures to ensure consistency and quality
  • Monitor food handling practices to prevent cross-contamination and ensure proper storage temperatures
  • Complete required production paperwork, temperature records, and daily cleaning/task lists accurately
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to support smooth workflow and efficient operations
  • Participate in required training, certifications, and continuous learning opportunities
  • Adhere to all USDA facility regulations, Grant of Inspection protocols, and compliance standards applicable to this production environment

What We're Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Basic food service or kitchen experience preferred; 6+ months in a food service or production kitchen a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and consistency
  • Ability to stay composed and solution-oriented in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliability, accountability, and a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs. consistently, and work in refrigerated environments
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus
