Job description

Position Summary
We are searching for an energetic and reliable Customer Service Representative in Plainfield, IN. In this role, you will work directly with the warehouse clerical staff and corporate team to help process and collect client invoices. Duties may include reviewing invoices for accuracy, maintaining active files for all clients that have outstanding invoices, creating aging receivable reports, establish and supervise production scheduling activities, and provide excellent customer service to customers and visitors.  
Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor product inventories
  • Track progress of loads and review factors that affect schedules
  • Daily entering of data and compiling/completing time-sensitive reports
  • Check drivers in & out throughout day, print BOL’s and outbound details.
  • Obtain shipper releases number, destination, and trailer number.
  • Assign doors to drivers.
  • Manage customer order handling, inventory control, and material handling functions
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mails, letters, packages, etc.).
  • Assisting with inquiries and problem resolution
  • Prepare customer delivery reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends and use information to proactively communicate with customers
  • Identify, develop and manage effective relationships with existing and potential suppliers of goods and services to meet the established cost, quality, and delivery targets.
Qualifications & Skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 2 years of customer service experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong computer skills. Ability to enter data into a computer quickly and accurately
  • Working knowledge of Office 365 and AS400 is a plus.
  • Solid communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently is required.  
  • Spanish is preferred (required in some markets).  
  • Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Strong customer service orientation, ensuring needs and deadlines are met in a timely fashion
  • Proven focus on continuous improvement in the workplace
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced organization
  • Proven problem solver, anticipates challenges and is both responsive and resourceful
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds with or without reasonable assistance is required.
  • Must wear closed toe shoes
Work Schedule & Compensation
  • 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • $18.00 per hour
