To thrive as an Army Sergeant, you need strong leadership abilities, tactical proficiency, and a solid understanding of military regulations, typically acquired through experience and completion of the Noncommissioned Officer Education System (NCOES). Familiarity with military communication systems, weapons platforms, and operational planning tools is essential.
