Job description

We are hiring an Army ERP Functional consultant to aid our clients by analyzing their Financial and Logistics datasets to support Enterprise financial analytics. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our clients to support modernization and determine the functional logic to integrate datasets from Army ERP's and Legacy Accounting, Budgeting and Costing systems. The consultant will help our clients navigate a complex and dynamic business landscape. This role requires strong Techno/Functional expertise of the Army's financial business processes and business mission area financial systems, enabling effective creation and integration analytical solutions. This is a hybrid position and the candidate will be required to work from the client location in Crystal City, Arlington VA or the Pentagon at least 3 days a week.

  • Analyze financial and logistics datasets from Army and DoW systems to determine the integration logic to enable Enterprise reporting
  • Normalize data from SAP and Non-SAP systems to consolidate in datamarts to support HQDA and Command level reports and dashboards
  • Serve as the Financials subject matter expert across highly diverse mission fields and throughout U.S. government stakeholders
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in a rapidly changing mission-oriented work environment
  • Possess and apply knowledge of the Department of the Army financial systems and processes
  • Support the management and tracking of project timelines and deliverables keeping the client and stakeholders informed of progress and any challenges encountered
  • Independently lead functional workshops and meetings to clarify data integration logic and related dependencies as required

Required Skills & Experienceย 

  • Active Secret security clearance
  • Minimum of Ten (10) years of experience in Army ERP implementation and support.
  • Expertise in General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) data to include Budgeting and Expenditure
  • Extensive knowledge of Army's Financial Line of Accounting
  • Expert level knowledge of how Army's Financial data traverses' different ERP and Legacy systems based on the different business processes
  • Expert level knowledge of SAP and the functional impacts of config. changes to FI, FM, CO, MM, PP modules, on transactional postings
  • Expert level knowledge of US Treasury Financial reporting, related data elements and how the Treasury systems interact with the Army Financial systems
  • Experience implementing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Data Lake to support HDQA and command level reporting
  • Experience supporting Army financial management and business process re-engineering
  • Experience with the Army's General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS)
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Desired Skills & Experienceย 

  • Knowledge of Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-Army)
  • Writing queries and programming in SQL or PySpark
