About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a food service kiosk. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating organized systems, leading a team, solving problems, and ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently.

The Operations Manager will be responsible for staffing, inventory management, facility upkeep, administrative tasks, and maintaining operational standards. This position offers significant responsibility and autonomy and is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to take ownership of a business's daily operations.

Responsibilities

Inventory & Ordering

  • Place inventory orders and maintain appropriate stock levels
  • Monitor inventory organization and product rotation
  • Help minimize waste and prevent out-of-stock situations

Organization & Facility Management

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready kiosk and storage area
  • Ensure all supplies and inventory remain properly labeled and stored
  • Identify operational issues and implement solutions

Team Leadership

  • Create and manage employee schedules every two weeks
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and disciplinary action when necessary
  • Foster a positive, professional work environment

Administrative Duties

  • Verify employee hours and ensure accurate timekeeping records
  • Complete cash deposits and obtain change from the bank as needed
  • Maintain operational records and documentation

Maintenance & Equipment

  • Coordinate equipment repairs and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot minor operational issues
  • Contact service providers and order replacement parts when necessary
  • Help ensure equipment remains in good working condition

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure health, safety, and operational logs are completed accurately
  • Maintain inspection readiness at all times
  • Follow and enforce company policies and procedures

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Previous management, supervisory, or leadership experience
  • Experience in food service, retail, hospitality, or operations management
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Reliable transportation and ability to make bank deposits
