Southern Glazer's offers a competitive compensation package with expected first year total earnings of $92,300 - $151,500 including bonus (MN Only). In determining a final offer, the company will evaluate a specific candidate's education, skills and experience and will make an offer appropriately.

Overview

The Manager, Commercial Operations Effectiveness is responsible for the management and execution of key strategic initiatives and business processes in support of the Commercial Operations Effectiveness team. Working integrally with the VP Commercial Operations Effectiveness, this role will provide day-to-day project management across the full suite of Commercial Operations Effectiveness priorities.

This position also works closely with the Regions, Dedicated Divisions and State teams to provide support in the translation of the above priorities into operational action within the Company's core business model.

Additionally, this role manages all internal team processes including presentation and meeting support, budgeting and financial analysis and communications.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Support the development/maintenance of the "Planning and Commercial Execution (PACE) Guide" which includes commercial/supplier planning, supplier management, programming, margin enhancement, etc.
  • Support the field execution of the PACE process framework in close coordination with the Commercial Strategy Effectiveness "SWAT" team.
  • Support the implementation of the PACE training platform, in close coordination with Commercial Capabilities teams.
  • Support continual capability-gaps assessment across Commercial Operations, Commercial Strategy, Trade Development, Supplier Management, and Commercial Finance teams and develop a prioritization roadmap for training content development.
  • Program manage multiple projects and initiatives as needed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance Commercial ways of working and cross-functional collaboration at the Corporate, Regional, and State levels.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Able to obtain and meet industry licensing requirements as needed
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 30%
