ASEC has an opportunity for a Subject Matter Expert to serve as a Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) Editor supporting MQ-4C Triton flight manuals. In this role, you'll combine your technical expertise and understanding of NATOPS to shape accurate, high-quality documentation and contribute to the evolution of next-generation mission systems. Join ASEC and be part of a dedicated team improving mission effectiveness and supporting the MQ-4C Triton unmanned aircraft system (UAS).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as an editor for NATOPS development, providing direct support to PMA-262.
  • Act as a technical writer, generating and maintaining NATOPS content to ensure flight clearance materials remain current.
  • Edit and update NATOPS content using Arbortext Editor for XML formatting - no prior experience with Arbortext is required; we'll provide training.
  • Review Airworthiness Issues Resolution System (AIRS) submissions and associated revisions for technical accuracy and operational clarity.

Requirements

What You'll Bring:

  • At least 3 years of NAVAIR platform aircrew operational experience, required.

The following qualifications are a plus, but not required for consideration:

  • MQ-4C Triton operational experience
  • XML experience 
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • NATOPS instructor/evaluator
  • MPRWS Instructor/WTI
