Job description

Job Summary
Primary Responsibilities:
- Interpret and analyze engineering, reliability, maintainability, supply chain, and customer operational data to develop support and logistics solutions.
- Provide recommendations on product supportability and determine operational maintenance tasks and required support resources.
- Develop support systems and ensure requirements for supportability are met.
- Identify logistics support candidates from product definitions and create logistics support analysis records and reports.
- Establish spares provisioning requirements, including recommendations for spare/replacement parts, stocking levels, and inventory.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for aircraft system/component operation, testing, inspection, and maintenance.
- Evaluate aircraft/fleet operational performance, reliability, and availability to establish maintenance concepts.
- Support the collection, analysis, and storage of system support technical data and assist in evaluation and recommendations.
- Participate in technical documentation preparation, including theory of operation, troubleshooting, illustrated parts breakdowns, and schematics.
- Research, analyze, and validate technical source data for publications and estimate impacts of changes or proposals.
Day-to-Day Activities:
- Develop technical publication elements for multiple maintenance levels of fielded equipment or subsystems.
- Research and evaluate technical data and specifications to support publication development.
- Maintain and update technical documents and publication elements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to validate and integrate technical data into support solutions.
- Review and assess aircraft/fleet performance data to inform documentation and support plans.
Top Technical/Software Skills Required:
1. Experience with AWACS Technical Data, Boeing and Supplier Engineering Source Data, and proficiency in Arbortext, Adobe Pro X, Excel, Word, CITRIX, REDARS, ADO, and Boeing-specific software.
2. Preferred expertise in Communications Systems (1st), Mission Systems (2nd), and Avionics Systems (3rd).
