Job description

We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst I to join our Accounting Department located in the Copperfield area of Houston. The Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting the SVP of Accounting with the development of budgeting, operational goals, and objectives for the Accounting Department.
Additionally, the FA performs and oversees special studies for management including ratio/trend analysis; analyzes trends in the financial data and detects problems.
This individual must be analytical & organized with complete knowledge of advanced managerial and cost accounting practices and procedures.
Qualified candidates require a minimum of 3 years related experience as well as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience; Master's degree, CPA and/or CMA designation is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, or equivalent work experience
  • Master's degree, CPA, and/or CMA designation preferred

Experience
  • Three to five years of similar or related experience
