Spending Manager, AGS (Applied Global Service)
The Spending Manager, AGS serves as the global spending lead for Applied Global Services, with responsibility for forecast consolidation, spend performance analysis, planning processes, and executive-level insights across COS and OPEX. This role leads a team of analysts and partners closely with business leaders to drive financial rigor, improve visibility to risks and opportunities, and support strategic decision-making. The role combines strong analytics, clear communication, and cross-functional influence to improve financial performance and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead AGS spend forecasting across COS and OPEX, including consolidation, variance analysis, and communication of key messages to leadership
  • Own planning processes tied to AOP, including Zero-Based Budgeting and investment planning
  • Track projects associated with key strategic initiatives against AOP commitments and highlight risks, gaps, and opportunities
  • Monitor budget alignment and help stakeholders understand trade-offs, risks, and performance drivers
  • Prepare executive-ready recommendations, reporting, and updates on spend performance and required actions
  • Partner cross-functionally to improve planning quality, forecasting accuracy, and spend transparency
  • Drive process enhancements, including system solution implementation and reporting improvements
  • Lead and develop analysts, ensuring strong financial discipline, analytical quality, and responsiveness to business needs

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education
  • Experience in spend management, procurement, sourcing, finance, FP&A, or related analytical roles
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret large data sets and turn analysis into business recommendations
  • Experience with spend reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or cost optimization
  • Ability to work across functions and influence stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong communication skills, including ability to present insights clearly to business and finance leaders
  • Experience with analytics tools
  • Strong Excel and data visualization capability; familiarity with dashboards and reporting tools preferred

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
