Location: Marietta, GA - In office
Your Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the General Manager to establish a five-year business plan including ARI share growth, market segment focus, product mix expectations, value-based propositions, and long-term investment strategies
  • Determine gross margin expectations for office and is responsible for providing direction in achieving those margins
  • Lead sales efforts through sales engineers to ensure activities are being maintained around pipeline, backlog, and opportunity management through effective use of CRM software
  • Determine the product needs of the marketplace and work with Marketing to establish product development plans, and in conjunction with Daikin Applied's product line, solicit and secure representation of ancillary products that complement our selling efforts
  • Drive strategies for selling activities through the execution of assigned job captain responsibilities and coach sales staff in the effective use of skills to ensure highest probability of closure of each strategic opportunity
  • Schedule, lead, and participate in regularly occurring sales meetings where open communication, bidding strategies and tactical theories are utilized to increase the success of the sales team.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop all sales engineers through effective performance management and development by creating personnel develop plans for all sales staff to ensure employee self-improvement
  • Partner with the General Manager and HR to effectively manage performance expectations of all sales personnel in an environment that promotes professional success
  • Educate and influence Architects and Consultants regarding value that Daikin Applied can bring to assist in producing Green/LEED projects and promote Daikin Applied as an Environmentally Responsible Manufacturer
  • Provide market and competitor intelligence through data collection of the sales team as well as continual analysis of territory and account potential

Your Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience
  • 12+ years related sales engineering experience
  • 8+ years of people leadership experience
  • Sales management experience within a commercial HVAC environment
  • Prior experience working with engineering consultants and basis of design
  • Master's Degree or MBA (Preferred)
  • LEED, environmental, or "green" experience (Preferred)

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $126,100 to $221,900 plus a targeted sales incentive plan in Georgia. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
