Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Faculty

Employment Type: Faculty - part-time with option to become full-time if all requirements are met and can be onsite overseeing the clinical practicum portion of the program
Position Summary
Central Penn College is seeking a dynamic and experienced Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to serve as a faculty member within its Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Program as well as teach Psychology courses. This position combines teaching, curriculum development, and clinical oversight responsibilities to support student success and workforce readiness in applied behavior analysis (ABA).
The ideal candidate will bring both academic and clinical expertise, with a passion for teaching and mentoring students, while also ensuring alignment with industry standards and certification requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
Teaching amp; Instruction
- Deliver undergraduate-level courses in the RBT and teach Psychology courses within other Health and Social Science Disciplines, including ABA-focused coursework
- Utilize evidence-based instructional practices to support diverse learners
- Facilitate engaging in-person, online, and/or hybrid learning environments
- Assess student learning outcomes and provide timely, constructive feedback
Curriculum Development amp; Program Implementation
- Design, review, and update curriculum to align with Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) standards and industry best practices
- Support development and continuous improvement of the RBT program and related behavioral science offerings
- Ensure course content reflects current research and workforce needs
Clinical Oversight amp; Supervision
- Provide oversight and guidance for students and/or RBTs engaged in clinical practice or fieldwork experiences
- Ensure supervision practices align with BACB requirements and ethical guidelines
- Collaborate with clinical partners to support high-quality experiential learning opportunities
Service amp; Institutional Engagement
- Participate in faculty governance, committees, and college initiatives
- Contribute to program assessment, accreditation, and reporting activities
- Build and maintain partnerships with community agencies and employers
Qualifications
Required:
- Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field
- Experience supervising RBTs or providing clinical ABA services
- Demonstrated teaching or training experience (higher education preferred)
- Strong knowledge of BACB standards and RBT competencies
