Job description

Application Support Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Application support engineer who is a US Citizen (This position for US citizens only (ITAR/CMMC)) and has worked on Federal, Nuclear projects providing L2/L3 application support:

1. Experience of installing, troubleshooting, and testing Engineering applications like Autodesk, Bentley etc. on Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environment.

2. Support application upgrade and patching via AVD golden image upgrade by coordinating with EUC, SCCM and application SMEs

3. Vendor coordination for Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and SAAS applications for upgrades, issues, and outages. Follow vendor technical documentation for troubleshooting and setup.

4. Experience of handling Incident, Catalog tasks, Service Request, Change Request and Problem tickets as per ITSM best practices.

5. License Management, Performance management, LM setup and end user support

6. Support Server patching testing, Vulnerability remediation and testing for Engineering applications

7. Maintaining the knowledge documents, architectures, and support documentation in the Restricted Workspace AVD enclave

8. Support user migration from Non-CMMC environment to CMMC environment

9. Good communication and presentation skills

Additional Good to have skills:

1. Experience of working in Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) certified client environments

2. Prepare CMMC compliance specific artefacts or documentation

3. Support CMMC certification and audit processes
