As a valued colleague on our team, you will design and develop moderately complex solutions for information technology (IT) infrastructure environments, including coding, testing, and certifying technology platforms, software, and applications under limited supervision.


THE IMPACT YOU WILL MAKE

The Desktop Packaging Engineer role is responsible for building, testing, and deploying Windows and macOS application packages in support of enterprise software delivery and timesensitive vulnerability remediation, including zeroday vulnerabilities. This role partners closely with application owners, security, deployment, and support teams to ensure software is packaged securely, reliably, and in compliance with established SLAs and governance standards. You will play a critical role in rapidly translating vendor fixes and emergency security updates into productionready packages, supporting forced deployments, and enabling timely remediation of High, Critical, and zeroday vulnerabilities across the endpoint environment. This role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Develop moderately complex solutions for application design and IT infrastructure components.
  • Understand the end-to-end performance of IT platforms.
    Draft and maintain policies, guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
  • Independently monitor advanced performance and capacity metrics for technology solutions.

Minimum Required Experiences:

  • 2 years of experience in desktop engineering or application packaging
  • Proven experience with SCCM / MECM or Microsoft Intune
  • Application Packaging (MSI, MSIX, App-V)
  • PowerShell scripting
  • Experience managing application deployment across enterprise environments
  • Solid understanding of Windows OS (10/11)
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and change management processes
  • Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work


Desired Experiences:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Experience in financial services or regulated environments
  • Familiarity with Azure AD / Endpoint security tools
  • VDI (Citrix, VMWare Horizon)
  • Experience with DevOps practices and automation pipelines
  • Knowledge of OS imaging and provisioning (MDT, Autopilot)
