Job Title: Recruiter (Temporary Workforce & Onboarding)

Location: Jeffersonville, IN
Department: Human Resources

Position Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter to support high-volume hiring of temporary employees while managing a seamless onboarding process. This role is critical in ensuring we attract, hire, and onboard qualified candidates efficiently to meet operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring

  • Manage full cycle recruiting for temporary and hourly roles
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and timelines
  • Post job openings, source candidates, and maintain a strong candidate pipeline
  • Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and coordinate hiring decisions
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process

Onboarding & Compliance

  • Coordinate and facilitate onboarding for new hires (orientation, paperwork, system setup)
  • Ensure all pre-employment requirements are completed (background checks, I-9s, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems (e.g., ADP, Smartsheet)
  • Communicate onboarding details clearly with new hires and internal teams

Process & Operations

  • Track hiring metrics and provide regular updates on recruiting progress
  • Support high-volume hiring initiatives and hiring events as needed
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruiting and onboarding efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or temp staffing environments
  • Experience with onboarding processes and HRIS systems (ADP experience a plus)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills
