Job description

Overview
Manage Dendreon's vendor apheresis collection accounts from site selection through on-going business management in designated region. This is a remote postion located in the Central Region.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain working relationships with apheresis collection accounts and internal business partners to successfully accomplish responsibilities (e.g. Clinical Nurse Manager, Sales Representatives, Division Sales Managers, Corporate Account Managers, Operations, and Quality)
  • Work cross functionally to ensure apheresis collection vendors meet business requirements, successfully complete all on-boarding activities, and are prepared to perform collections for Dendreon within required timelines
  • Work with Legal and internal stakeholders to review and execute contract renewals and amendments
  • Develop and execute strategies to track and improve vendor performance, including participation in regular Quality and Operational reviews to assess, communicate, and implement programs
  • Provide Quality support by participating in deviation/change management activities and impact/investigation assessments with assigned apheresis collection accounts
  • Manage departmental processes for deviations, change controls, and document management to comply with Dendreon's quality requirements as they relate to apheresis collection vendors
  • Monitor apheresis account capacity and negotiate with account leadership to implement/reduce collection capacity when directed
  • Participate in deviation/change management activities, and impact/investigation assessments with assigned apheresis collection vendors in support of the Quality Program
  • Work closely with corporate and field teams to manage assigned apheresis collection accounts
  • Facilitate training workshops for apheresis collection accounts

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or life sciences
  • Minimum two to four years' experience working in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or other relevant healthcare experience
  • Vendor management experience preferred
  • Ability to work effectively and produce high quality results in a fast-paced team environment
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and proven success in a customer facing role
  • Ability to build effective relationships within the company and with external partners, at all levels, from technical/clinical staff to executives
  • Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of Apheresis and/or Good Tissue Practices a plus
  • On-call and after hours support may be required

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • 25% travel
