ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Head of Sales, APAC to build and own new business development across Australia and New Zealand.

This is a greenfield, high-impact role—not inheriting a mature pipeline, but building one.

The mandate is clear:

  • Identify and shape opportunities before they formally come to market
  • Build a validated pipeline with 12–24 month visibility
  • Win a small number of high-value, complex deals
  • Establish the foundation for sustained regional growth

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the General Manager of APAC, the Head of Sales will serve as the region’s primary new business leader.

This individual will be responsible for:

  • Driving net new logo acquisition
  • Building and maintaining a forward-looking pipeline
  • Developing relationships across state and federal government agencies
  • Positioning Accela early in procurement cycles
  • Leading complex enterprise sales processes from origination through close

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise sales or business development
  • Track record of closing complex, high-value deals
  • Experience working with or selling into government agencies preferred
  • Strong understanding of procurement-driven sales environments
  • Ability to operate independently while influencing across functions
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

COMPENSATION AND WELL-BEING
The annual base salary range for this full-time position is AUD160,000 (less applicable taxes). The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience. In addition to an annual base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus target. This is a discretionary bonus awarded based on company and individual goal achievement.
