Purchasing Manager EMEA & APAC

who will lead the Operational Purchasing organization and ensure consistent execution of purchasing routines, supplier follow-up, inventory management, shortage mitigation, and order book management to secure material availability and support business objectives.

What you will do:
  • Lead and develop and coach the Operational Purchasing team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate purchase order execution.
  • Drive supplier delivery performance and shortage resolution.
  • Own inventory, supply continuity, and operational purchasing KPIs.
  • Standardize purchasing processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for operational supply issues.
  • Collaborate with Planning, SIOP, SBO, Logistics, Quality, Engineering, and Commodity Management.
  • External Stakeholders: Vendors (locally, EMEA & Asia)
What we are looking for:
  • University degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
  • Extensive experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement
  • leadership roles.
  • Proven leadership experience managing purchasing teams.
  • Strong background in manufacturing environments.
  • Experience working in international and matrix organizations.
  • Demonstrated success in driving operational improvements and supply
  • chain performance.
  • Operational purchasing and procurement processes.
  • Supply planning, inventory management, and ERP systems (preferably Infor LN).
  • Supplier performance management.
  • SIOP and material planning processes.
  • Lean and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
  • Languages: Fluent in Polish, English, (German would be an add on)
