AP/AR Coordinator


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and independent AP/AR Coordinator to support both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, be comfortable working with large amounts of data, and have the ability to identify issues and independently find solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions.
  • Review invoices, payments, receipts, and account information for accuracy.
  • Perform account reconciliations and research discrepancies.
  • Work with large sets of financial data and identify errors or inconsistencies.
  • Use Excel VLOOKUPs and other functions to analyze and reconcile data.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure transactions are properly documented.
  • Research and resolve payment, invoice, and account discrepancies.
  • Assist with reporting and other accounting-related tasks as needed.
  • Communicate with internal teams and vendors/customers to resolve issues.
  • Manage priorities independently and meet deadlines.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or both.
  • Strong Excel skills required from day one.
  • Hands-on experience with VLOOKUP and working with large data sets.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to identify problems, research the cause, and determine an appropriate solution.
