Job Description

Organizational Relationships Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager Directs daily activities of Ancillary/ Maintenance Utility Personnel In case of a Hazardous Material Emergency the Ancillary Supervisor will assume the duties of an ERT member as assigned during training. General Description of Duties The Ancillary Supervisor oversees the operation and maintenance of all ancillary equipment. The Ancillary Supervisor will ensure the employee's safety will always be his/her utmost concern. This position assumes the responsibility over the efficiency, output and cleanliness of the ancillary areas, assumes the responsibility of safety and ancillary personnel as well as assist them whenever needed. This hands-on Ancillary Supervisor is responsible for daily record keeping, equipment repair, and quality of workmanship. Job Responsibilities Represent ENTEK with the highest standard of professional conduct when interacting with co-workers, customers, and/or vendors. Follow and ensure company core values are adhered to: (Respect, Integrity, Commitment, Innovation) Performs hands-on analytical analysis of all ancillary equipment to ensure proper operations. Responsible for leadership of the employees and processes within the Ancillary division of the maintenance department Solvent recovery system Check calibration of various equipment and ensure environmental compliance Ensure internal records and documents are completed as required Daily review of line monitoring logs Daily entry into ancillary log Daily review of logs Ensure that the line leak test requirements are being completed in accordance with the Leak Detection Plan. (Responsible for ensuring completion) Regular testing and monitoring of the air quality systems, emission control equipment and effluent systems. Weekly water tests of the, boilers, chillers, and cooling towers water, and any required adjustments to ensure proper operations of the equipment is indicated in operator log. Ensure compliance at all time in the handling, storage and disposal of hazardous waste. Directs ancillary operators and maintenance utility. Work with Maintenance Manager for continuous training of Ancillary operators and Maintenance schedules. It is critical to plant operations and maintenance that these two operations, Maintenance and Ancillary operate as one department. Maintain a work list of Ancillary related items. Monthly Utility Measurements and Leak response first week of every month. Maintains preventive maintenance on all ancillary equipment. Annual review of preventative maintenance program for department with Maintenance Manager. Assist Engineering in completing the annual State Fire Marshall report. Daily inspection and review of bulk material, systems. Ensure all equipment is kept in "SHOWROOM" condition. Support the Environmental policies of the company, complying with local, state and federal regulations. Personal Goals/Objectives: As an ENTEK employee, the Ancillary Supervisor is expected to perform his/her tasks within the time frames given, all work must be of the highest quality. You should reflect exemplary work habits at all times, specifically, attitude, attendance, and willingness to perform any task necessary to enhance the plant operation.

Qualifications

Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must comply with all equipment Lock-out/Tag-out procedures as instructed by company policy. Hot and cold plant equipment start ups and shutdowns, as well as start ups and shutdowns that occur from equipment and power failures. Receive training and maintain a general knowledge of all ancillary operations. Passing of the ENTEK Ancillary test is required.

Education & Experience: BS of any of the following Mechanical Engineering Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, with 5 + years of experience
