We are seeking a motivated and experienced Inbound Warehouse Supervisor to join our Warehouse and Supply Chain team. This position is responsible for supervising daily inbound operations, including dock scheduling, unloading, receiving, inspection, system receipt, labeling, put-away, and discrepancy resolution.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on inbound warehouse experience, strong leadership skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to improve receiving accuracy, inventory flow, and team productivity.
Responsibilities
  • Supervise inbound warehouse staff and coordinate daily receiving, unloading, inspection, labeling, sorting, staging, and put-away activities.
  • Plan labor and assign daily tasks based on inbound schedules, shipment volume, and operational priorities.
  • Coordinate dock appointments and inbound deliveries with carriers, vendors, purchasing, logistics, and supply chain teams.
  • Verify inbound shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, ASNs, and other receiving documents.
  • Ensure received products are accurately counted, inspected, labeled, and entered into the WMS or ERP system.
  • Investigate and resolve shortages, overages, damages, incorrect items, and other inbound shipment discrepancies.
  • Monitor receiving accuracy, dock-to-stock time, put-away productivity, labor efficiency, and other inbound KPIs.
  • Ensure materials are stored in the correct warehouse locations promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate receiving records, inventory documentation, and inbound operational reports.
  • Ensure inbound staging areas, receiving docks, and storage locations remain organized, clean, and safe.
  • Train, coach, and support team members on receiving procedures, scanning requirements, equipment use, inventory accuracy, and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement inbound SOPs, workflow improvements, and operational standards in partnership with warehouse management.
  • Work closely with inventory control to resolve receiving errors and prevent inventory discrepancies.
  • Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, returns, and vendor coordination as needed.
  • Ensure all inbound operations comply with company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
Qualifications
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates, subject to role eligibility and business needs.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years of hands-on inbound warehouse experience, including receiving, unloading, inspection, system receipt, and put-away.
  • 1+ year of supervisory, team lead, or frontline warehouse management experience is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating inbound appointments, carriers, vendors, purchase orders, and receiving documentation.
  • Experience investigating shipment shortages, overages, damages, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Experience using WMS, ERP, PDA/RF scanning systems, or other warehouse data systems.
  • Familiarity with inbound KPIs such as receiving accuracy, dock-to-stock time, put-away productivity, and labor efficiency.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and general data-entry software.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple inbound shipments in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
