Warehouse Inbound Unloading Supervisor
Bolingbrook, IL
Position Overview

We are currently hiring an experienced Warehouse Inbound Unloading Supervisor to oversee daily unloading/lumping operations inside a fast-paced food-service distribution warehouse. This leadership role is responsible for supervising unloading crew, coordinating inbound schedules, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations.

Monday – Saturday
4:00 AM – Until Finish (Approx. 12:30 PM)
 



âś… Responsibilities
 
  • Supervise unloading/lumping crew and daily inbound warehouse operations
  • Ensure work areas remain clean and organized at all times — sanitation is everyone’s responsibility
  • Coordinate daily load schedules including department priorities and urgent loads
  • Communicate with customers regarding appointments, backhauls, and common carriers
  • Plan and implement strategies to complete loads efficiently and on time
  • Verify payments are complete before receipts are generated and ensure accuracy of documentation
  • Ensure all pallets are separated and staged properly 
  • Maintain warehouse safety procedures including securing trailers with chocks and glad hand locks
  • Enforce proper door closing and latching procedures after each load completion
  • Monitor productivity and maintain a safe, efficient work environment

  • MUST HAVE at least 2 years of Warehouse Supervisor experience
  • Must be able to operate:
    • Electric Rider Pallet Jack
    • Stand-Up Forklift
    • Counterbalance Forklift
  • Experience supervising warehouse unloading or lumping operations preferred
  • Ability to follow instructions and work safely in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills required for daily operational reporting
